I would
like to invite you to sail onboard a smaller, more
intimate ship, and discover deluxe cruising on the ship
Journey, of Azamara Cruises, a branch of Celebrity
Cruises. Would you like to forgo the crowds and
experience a voyage tailor-made for you to experience
the Panama Canal. The enormity of the canal’s
engineering will leave you amazed.
Azamara Journey offers a
handcrafted ambiance that combines a more romantic vision of travel with
the most modern amenities. Walking along the decks, you’ll have the
sense that you’re strolling through the expanse of an upscale European
hotel without ever losing the feel of being onboard ship. Enjoy
spectacular dining, including two unique specialty restaurants and an
intimate main dining room, dazzling nightly entertainment options, and a
collection of enrichment programs that have been designed to open your
mind to a wealth of new insights.
Journey is
593 feet in length which allows it to be navigated into
the canal and other ports that other ships could never
reach. Despite the small size the Journey offers many of
the amenities of a much larger vessel. Journey’s
occupancy is 694 passengers and has better than one
staff member for every two passengers.
The suites and staterooms
all come standard with butler service, a daily fruit basket, fresh cut
flowers, 24-hour room service, a sweet surprise on your pillow each
evening, afternoon canapés, complimentary shoe-shine service, a 23”
plasma television, personal stationery, Elemis bathroom products, two
nights of complimentary specialty dining, one complimentary large bottle
of water, new European bedding, and complimentary use of binoculars,
umbrellas and plush robes.

We
had a great get-away this spring on the high seas
onboard Queen Mary 2 (QM2)We
started out by visiting London for a couple of days and
we walked the city, sampled pub fare, and enjoyed
traditional afternoon tea. Our hotel was centrally
located so we could walk to all of the attractions that
we wanted to see. We managed to find time to shop at
Harrods and a few other shops during our walks.
The
weather was great while we were there so we got to view
the city from the Eye. We saw many historical sites
throughout the city and spent a few relaxing hours
strolling in Hyde Park. We saw the musical "We Will Rock
You", which was a great. At the end of the show one of
the original members of Queen came out on stage and
entertained us with a tremendous guitar solo.
Where else but in London would this happen?
